Hello.

I’m Nigel, a digital product designer.

I'm a product designer working on complex software - telecoms, fintech, cybersecurity and enterprise platforms - and I've spent the last decade taking products from strategy and discovery through to developer handover.

I'm currently at giffgaff, where I've led the eSIM activation redesign across web and app and the phone purchase journey, and I'm championing the design system behind both. Before that I was Lead Designer at HEAL Security, a Silicon Valley startup, where I was the sole designer taking a cybersecurity SaaS product from a blank page to a launched MVP.

I was Principal UX Designer at Bravura Solutions, designing enterprise investment platforms for clients including Nucleus Financial, and I've worked with John Lewis & Partners, Elsevier and BT. My eye for craft comes from two decades in graphic design before I moved into UX.

I live in London. My creativity extends beyond the digital - I volunteer on art and design projects at my children's school, and build elaborate cardboard contraptions at home with my two young children.Find out more

“He is a strong advocate for best-practice design. Nigel consistently champions regular user feedback, journey mapping, and accessibility considerations, embedding these into our ways of working. He has led multiple user research days, giving the team direct exposure to both prototype and live production feedback. This includes accessibility-focused research sessions, where his leadership helped uncover deep, actionable insights into the needs of users with accessibility requirements.”

Jac Morris – Product Manger at giffgaff

Nigel has a deep understanding of the design process, technical detail and how digital tools need to connect with human beings. Nigel can also shape a design process and was instrumental in bringing new products to market.

Simon Clare – Chief Product Officer at FE fundinfo, (formerly Chief Technology Officer at Bravura Solutions)

“Nigel is incredibly skilled in taking on board complex requirements and bringing them to life through a simple, intuitive and impressive customer experience. He is welcoming of new ideas, feedback and changing requirements – responding to them with an upbeat attitude and with creative new solutions.”

Jane Ferguson, Head of Product at BT and EE
